MILAN — The departure of Gianluigi Donnaruma to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) seems to make AC Milan fans turbulent.

Their relationship with Donnaruma’s agent, Mino Raiola, is reportedly not going well. A press report claims Raiola has been barred from entering the club’s Milanello training complex due to his role in Donnarumma’s departure as a free agent.

La Gazzetta dello Sport, reported by Tribalfootball, Thursday (11/11), reported the situation. But the club quickly issued a statement and denied claims from the media regarding Raiola.

“In light of the article published by Gazzetta dello Sport today entitled ‘Milan expel Raiola’, ACMilan wants to sue,” AC Milan said in a statement.

Donnarumma is the main goalkeeper for Milan and the Italian national team. The 22-year-old player has been in Milan since he was a child.

From AC Milan Youth he developed rapidly and moved up to the AC Milan U-19 team in 2014. One year later he was promoted to the first team.

With the Rossoneri, his talent continues to grow and is irreplaceable as the number one goalkeeper. He made 251 appearances for Milan before moving to PSG last summer.

Fans are very disappointed that he left at a time when Milan needed his energy to play at a high level. With Milan, he presented one title in the 2016/2017 season, the Italian Super Cup. He impressed with Italy at the 2020 European Cup.

Thanks to his performances, the Azzuri became the best in the tournament and was named the factory goalkeeper of Euro 2020.

Now he is still fighting for the main place under Mauricio Pochettino. The reason is, he is competing with a top-class goalkeeper, namely former Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas.
